VIDEO: Jane Fonda calls for literal murder of Pro-Life politicians and Conservatives activists on ABC's Tha View

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna took this as no laughing matter. She wrote, “I have just notified Capitol Police of Jane Fonda’s call to murder pro-life politicians. I expect both Jane Fonda and TheView to issue public retractions for giving such repugnant behavior a platform.”

Her full statement read:

I have just notified Capitol Police of Jane Fonda’s call to murder pro-life politicians.

As I am a pro-life Member of Congress, and she did not retract or clarify that she was ‘joking’ with her statement, we are taking this threat as a serious one.

Jane Fonda and The View must issue a full retraction of Fonda’s sickening call to murder pro-life politicians and those who fight for the rights of unborn babies.

Calling for the murder of pro-life politicians is not only dangerous but incredibly sick. This leads to targeting and could result in someone being hurt.

The View should be ashamed is condones violence, especially against female elected officials.

Actress and activist Jane Fonda made a controversial comment regarding abortion during an episode of The View on Friday. The 85-year-old star discussed her stance on pro-lifers and the importance of maintaining reproductive rights, stating, “We’re not going back. I don’t care what the laws are. We’re not going back.”

When asked what other actions she would suggest in addition to protesting, Fonda responded with a shocking remark: “Murder,” which caused a stir among the show’s hosts and viewers.

Blac Chyna deactivates $240 Million OnlyFans account: “It’s a dead end. All that stuff is a dead end, and I know that I’m worth way more than that.”

“We have experienced many decades now of having agency over our body, of being able to determine when and how many children to have. We know what that feels like, we know what that’s done for our lives,” Fonda said. “We’re not going back, I don’t care what the laws are. We’re not going back.”

“It’s the truth, it is the truth,” Fonda said. “We’re gonna fight.”

Behar then asked the 85-year-old Fonda what can be done aside from “marching” and protesting the overturning of Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court.

“Well, I’ve thought of murder,” Fonda said during cross-talk before her “Grace and Frankie” co-star Lily Tomlin asked her to repeat herself.

“Murder,” Fonda said again as the reliably liberal panel burst into laughter. Fonda has long been an outspoken advocate for the far-left, and many veterans of the Vietnam War still refer to her as “Hanoi Jane,” recalling Fonda’s disastrous trip to North Vietnam in 1972 when she was photographed on an anti-aircraft gun used to shoot down American pilots. The actress has long since apologised for the incident.

Abortion has been at the forefront since the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade last year.

ABC News did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
