The man who was threatening to jump off from the roof of the building on Tuesday has been rescued.
A man who was hanging on top of a Sunnyside Police station was convinced to abandon his mission and rescued by Tshwane Emergency Services Department firefighters.
After several hours of negotiation, the man ultimately came down and was handed over to the South African Police Service.
Tshwane Emergency Services Department deployed resources including a fire engine and a ladder to facilitate the rescue mission.
It is not clear how the man managed to climb the police station roof.
