A 35-year-old farmer, Otwea Amokua, has shot his girlfriend for demanding an increment in her chop money at Breman Nkonya

A 35-year-old farmer has shot his girlfriend for demanding an increment in her chop money at Breman Nkonya near Breman Asikuma in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District of the Central Region.

The suspect, Kwame, also known in the community as Otwea Amokua is reported to have shot his 48-year-old girlfriend whose name has been given as Nkrumah after the two had a misunderstanding over chop money.
