DEATH: Republicans spread unconfirmed rumors that George Soros died of heart attack

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Republicans spread rumors that George Soros died of heart attack. (Read More Here).

Matt Wallace wrote: "Rumors are circulating that George Soros just died of a heart attack."

“BREAKING: George Soros has died of a violent heart attack, according to Politics For All Ireland.”

Rumours of financier George Soros’ death have flooded the internet yet again. The Hungarian American investor, businessman and chief financier is best known for his work in the orange coupe plots of several countries, especially that of West Asia. Due to his immense popularity and impressive net worth, he is unsurprisingly a topic of interest online. Speculation about him passing away made its way to Twitter recently. However, it is important to note that the 92-year-old has not died in reality.

Recently, a Twitter post by platform user @CilComLFC went viral on the social networking site. The netizen attached a black and white image of George Soros and wrote:

At the time of writing this article, the tweet had acquired over 400K views.

It is believed that the fake news originated from Twitter user @PolitcsFAIRL who claimed that Soros’ family confirmed that he passed away. In another tweet the platform user claimed that “the world can sleep easier tonight,” following Soros’ passing.

Publications routinely write obituaries for public figures ahead of time, but rarely do they escape the confines of editing and make it into print before the subject is actually dead. It’s not unheard of, though. For example, Bloomberg published an premature obituary of Steve Jobs back in 2008.

Reuters acknowledged the error in a tweet, saying that they “withdrew the article as soon as it appeared.” The news service published this correction. However, as of 6:30 pm eastern time, the story remained online under the headline: “George Soros, enigmatic financier, liberal philanthropist dies at XX.”

In a wide-ranging 1,222 word report written by reporter Todd Eastham, Reuters eulogized Soros with this fill-in-the-blank lede: “George Soros, who died XXX at age XXX, was a predatory and hugely successful financier and investor, who argued paradoxically for years against the same sort of free-wheeling capitalism that made him billions.”

George Soros Cuts Ties With Elon Musk

George Soros, known for his bold investments, has severed his connections with Elon Musk.

Soros had previously invested in Tesla and held a significant stake, but recently sold off all his shares.

This move comes amidst “growing concerns over Musk's controversial behavior and erratic tweets”

While Soros has praised Musk's entrepreneurial spirit and innovation in the past, he now questions his leadership and believes it may have a negative impact on Tesla's long-term stability.

Is Soros' concern about Tesla's "stability" really the reason for this decision, or did Soros sell his stake as a response to Elon’s ‘anti-establishment’ narrative?

Remember Elon’s tweet that he deleted earlier this year showing “billionaire simps” telling Elon to “fk off” but sucking George Soros’ foot?

How about Elon’s reply to a tweet highlighting Soros’ donation to New York City District Attorney Alvin Bragg?

No matter the reason behind this decision, it serves as an important reminder that free speech is a process with many obstacles along the way. The recent censorship concerns in Turkey is one such example, and I’m sure one of many.

A fake obituary on Twitter has triggered a plethora of tweets claiming Soros is dead, despite there being no evidence.

While the claims have been debunked, the tweets continue to spread with no removal by the author, an example of intentionally farming engagement with false information.

This is not the first time this happens, even mainstream media made the error of claiming Soros is dead.

In 2013 Reuters claimed “George Soros, who died XXX at age XXX, was a predatory and hugely successful financier and investor, who argued paradoxically for years against the same sort of free-wheeling capitalism that made him billions.”
