While giving the news on Iroyin, the background billboard suddenly fell on the head of the yet-to-be-identified NTA broadcaster, which has caused laughter on social media.

NTA News Caster, Ruth Aguele @Rupat19 wins Newscaster of the year Award at The Nigerian Broadcasting Awards.

The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) wins Most Impactful Media Award at the The 2023 Nigerian Broadcasting Awards.

The incident was as unexpected as it was shocking. The banner, bearing the name “NTA Iroyin”, fell suddenly revealing the green chroma key background typically used for graphic overlays during the broadcast. Viewers were left stunned by the abrupt sequence of events.

In the footage, which has since gone viral, you can hear a voice in the background saying, “Sorry”, presumably the program’s producer.

Cassper: The old order is falling apart. They're just doing a good job at putting on a good show to make us think they're still in control.
Everything they represent will fall apart. Not a single thing will be left for them to be remembered with.
We're in the end game now.

Gabriel: Everyone is busy talking about the board falling, but I can only open my mouth in amazement at how poor her Yoruba is! How can she be casting news in Yoruba and the language sounds so foreign, even in her mouth? Hehehe! This country nawa o! Am I the only one?.
