The star of Netflix’s The Witcher series and the Man of Steel himself has shed some more light on his gaming hobby, and it apparently takes up a fair bit of his time.
In a podcast called Happy Sad Confused hosted by Josh Horowitz two days ago, Henry Cavill shared more about his love for Warhammer miniatures and video games like Total War: Warhammer III, in particular.
Apart from video gaming in general, Henry Cavill is also known to be a huge fan of the Warhammer 40K tabletop game. He has been on talk shows discussing the hobby and how he enjoys every part of it from the model building to painting to eventually playing. The Witcher star even got a chance to visit the UK Warhammer headquarters earlier in the year, being given a tour of the company that crafted his longtime hobby.
When asked how much time he spent a day on video games, Cavill said: “A fair amount but that probably means a lot for those who do not play video games.”
“Just four hours a day?” Horowitz asked.
“Err…maybe more,” Cavill replied with a smile.
Haven’t we all been there at some point in our life? We would tell ourselves to play games for only one hour, only to play for the next six hours.He added that he has been playing Total War: Warhammer 3, and the audience clapped and cheered for him.
It is not too surprising, then, that Henry Cavill has stated the game he is most interested in at the moment is Total War: Warhammer 3. Speaking to Happy Sad Confused podcaster Josh Horowitz, Cavill discussed what he's been playing recently and said that he "loves" Total War: Warhammer 3, the final entry in the trilogy of games centered around Warhammer Fantasy. Cavill also says he's played a "fair amount" of the game, only to then correct himself and say he really means he's been spending "a lot" of time on it
