Prabir Das is all set to Join Kerala Blasters FC on a multi-year deal from Bengaluru FC for an undisclosed transfer fee

Prabir Das is all set to Join Kerala Blasters FC on a multi-year deal from Bengaluru FC for an undisclosed transfer fee.

Kerala Blasters FC are set to acquire the services of full-back Prabir Das from their arch-rivals Bengaluru FC, according to news reports.

The Yellow Army will pay an undisclosed fee for the 29-year-old, and a multi-year deal is likely to be signed between the parties involved, as reported by Khel Now.

Under the guidance of manager Simon Grayson, he predominantly played as a right wing-back in a 5-3-2 formation, proving to be an instrumental player in their miraculous campaign. Bengaluru FC reached the final of all three competitions they participated in - Durand Cup, Indian Super League (ISL), and Hero Super Cup.

Prabir seldomly featured for the Blues in the Super Cup as Grayson preferred Namgyal Bhutia in the wingback role.

One of those matches took place this season in the Indian Super League (ISL) when Bengaluru FC hosted Kerala Blasters in the ISL Playoffs 2023 where a controversial Goal from Bengaluru captain Sunil Chhetri led Kerala Blasters head coach Ivan Vukomanovic to lead his team out of the match with majority of the extra-time left to be played.

Now surprisingly, the two rivals is said to have agreed on a transfer of right-back Prabir Das from the Bengaluru FC to the Kerala Blasters FC for an undisclosed fee for the upcoming season.

According to a latest report on Khelnow website, Prabir Das, the Bengaluru FC right-back, formerly a ATK Mohun Bagan player, is set to sign for Kerala Blasters FC on a multi-year deal after the Blasters have agreed to pay an undisclosed transfer few for the player.

Prabir Das joined Bengaluru FC last season as part of swap deal with ATK Mohun Bagan where the right-back joined the Southern side while Bengaluru's Ashique Kuruniyan joined the Green and Maroon brigade from Kolkata.
