The pre-sale ticket server for the upcoming Coldplay concert in Malaysia has crashed when buyers attempt to login to make purchases.

According to BFM News checks on the Live Nation website, users were only able to join the buying queue after refreshing the page several times.

The error message reads 'error: rate exceeded' on the website.

CIMB Bank cardholders pre-sale had opened since 10am and will go on until 11.59pm today. The pre-queue started since 9am.

The British rock band will be performing at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Nov 22.
