VIDEO: BackGrid and five other paparazzi vehicles chased after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle while in orange taxi in New York city

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that BackGrid and five other paparazzi vehicles chased after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle while in orange taxi. (Read More Here).

The Daily Mail has a blurb up explaining, “In common with other websites, MailOnline published agency pictures of Harry and Meghan for a few hours this morning. The agency pictures were captioned as showing Harry and Meghan getting into a taxi after the event and were published on that basis. When it was discovered that the pictures were in fact taken, some time later at a different location, they were removed.”

Express doesn’t appear to have made any statement. They removed the photos from their website without any acknowledgement.

My question is, whom is the agency that they got these photos from, and whom did this agency buy them from?

The NYPD also released a statement about the incident on Wednesday from Julian Phillips, the deputy commissioner of the New York Police Department, who confirmed that officers "assisted the private security team protecting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex".

He continued: "There were numerous photographers that made their transport challenging. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at their destination and there were no reported collisions, summonses, injuries, or arrests in regard."

It is understood that Harry, Meghan and Ms Ragland were staying at a private residence and did not want to compromise the security of their friend’s home.

The incident involved half a dozen cars with blacked out windows, driving dangerously and putting the lives of the couple, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, in danger, according to their spokesperson.

"Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Ms Ragland were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi," the spokesperson said in a statement

In an incident all too familiar with the Princess Diana crash in 1997, seeing the paparazzi chase down Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is concerning.

But there is something else I find concerning as well. Both the The Daily Mail and Express ran articles that featured photos that appear to have been taken by the paparazzi after the couple were in the cab.

Both publications have since removed these photos after news broke of the incident. Were these individuals who took these photos part of the group who were chasing the cab? I think we need answers, and those responsible should face some sort of legal consequences.

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Those involved in the chase were confronted by police officers multiple times, according to the spokesperson.

The New York Police Department said it had assisted the private security team protecting the couple.

"There were numerous photographers that made their transport challenging. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at their destination and there were no reported collisions, summonses, injuries, or arrests in regard," an NYPD spokesperson said.

The incident occurred when the couple were being followed by members of the paparazzi while returning home from an awards ceremony on Tuesday.

“Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Ms.Ragland were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi,” explained the spokesperson in a statement.

They then continued: “This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians, and two NYPD officers.
