Residents of Munyaka Waterfall estate protest peacefully over lack of power for 4 days. (Read More Here).

The South African Police Service, as well as Metro police, are controlling traffic and watching over the proceedings outside the consulate.

Journalist Andrei van Wyk, said the memorandum addresses police brutality in the United States of America and calls on justice for the lives lost during the Marikana massacre.

Resident of Munyaka Waterfall Luxury Estate, in Midrand say that they have had enough of being in the dark and have began raising their concerns.

Videos circulating on social media show residents having a peaceful protest, blocking the entrance while having a braai.

The Munyaka Waterfall Luxury Estate has a 3ha Crystal Lagoon waterfront and was recently opened on the 1st of March.

This lagoon is Balwin’s second clearwater lagoon after the Blyde in Tshwane East became the first development in South Africa to incorporate a clearwater lagoon built in a beach setting.
