Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Apostle Grace Lubega and Phaneroo Ministries International members broke Guinness World record of Longest clap of 3 hours and 20 Minutes in #ClapForJesusWorldRecord.

Phaneroo Ministries International, a prominent Ugandan church, has set its sights on making history by attempting to break the existing Guinness World Record for the longest round of applause.

The event is taking place on Sunday, July 30, with the congregation uniting in a three-hour non-stop hand-clapping session, all in the name of surpassing the current record.

The session has been aptly named "Clap for Jesus," reflecting the church's devotion and enthusiasm for their remarkable endeavor.

Currently, the title for the longest applause is held by Stevens Clark, who accomplished the feat during the Festival of Awesomeness in the UK on July 20, 2019.


The non-stop hand-clapping session took place at the church’s headquarters in Kampala, though branches of the church in other places also participated as it was called “Clap for Jesus,” the activity attracted the participation of large numbers of people, estimated to be in thousands.

The current record for the longest applause is held by Stevens Clark, who accomplished the feat during the Festival of Awesomeness in the UK on July 20, 2019. Clark's record stands at an impressive two hours and five minutes of continuous applause.

Phaneroo Ministries International will be waiting for Guinness World Records’ decision on whether their hand-clapping session will become the new world record.

Anticipation for the Clap for Jesus World Record Day is running high, with the church diligently preparing for the event. In a tweet posted on Saturday, July 29, the church reminded everyone of the upcoming milestone.

Phaneroo Ministries International has applied to the Guinness World Records organization and ensured compliance with all the guidelines set forth by the organization in Uganda. The process includes meeting specific sound level requirements, maintaining synchronized clapping, designating timers, and securing required witnesses, among other conditions.

Education

Grace Lubega attended Makerere University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in statistics and accounting. He later attended Zoe Life Theological College and was conferred an honorary doctorate of divinity on February 4, 2023, at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala.

Apostle Grace Lubega is a Ugandan Pastor, gospel singer, vision bearer Phaneroo. Lubega is a man of faith, revival, reformation, revolution, vision and anointed by the spirit of God.

His spiritual children have walked and continue to walk in his footsteps; to heal the sick; to give sight to the blind; to cause the lame to walk, to open deaf ears and many other miracles.

Lubega has set a precedent on how many ought to define excellence and greatness and changed the aspirations of many from the predictabilities that the world dictated to the limitlessness that the word of God dictates.
