Shakur Stevenson has stated that Devin Haney's offered him a 75/25 split to fight next, but he's rejected it

Shakur Stevenson has stated that Devin Haney's offered him a 75/25 split to fight next, but he's rejected it:

“I don’t think I'm the A-side, I just know my worth and 25% ain’t it. I didn’t turn the fight down, that was supposedly the first offer, haven’t heard nothing since.”

The former featherweight and super-featherweight world champion made light work of his previously unbeaten Japanese opponent, knocking down Yoshino in the second and fourth rounds before the referee stopped the contest in the sixth session of a hugely one-sided contest.

Stevenson moved up to the 135lbs limit after being stripped of his super-featherweight titles in September last year having failed to make weight for a title defence against Robson Conceicao, and the 25-year-old immediately looked comfortable in his new setting.

As he is a free agent after completing his three-fight deal with Bob Arum’s Top Rank, Haney can take his time and figure out the best option for him.

However, there are huge possible match-ups for him, if he stays at lightweight, against Gervonta Davis (represented by Al Haymon’s PBC) and Stevenson (represented by Arum’s Top Rank).
