VIDEO: GOP Presidential candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy, defends Trump as he told Tucker Carlson that ‘Pervasive Censorship’ led to January 6th

GOP Presidential candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy, defends Trump as he told Tucker Carlson that ‘Pervasive Censorship’ led to January 6th. Do you agree?.

Author and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy said that "pervasive censorship" in the U.S. prior to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot caused the episode to occur. Ramaswamy, who is one of the candidates running in the GOP presidential primary, made the comments during an interview with Tucker Carlson on Friday.

"You tell people in this country they cannot speak, that is when they scream. You tell people they cannot scream, that is when they tear things down," Ramaswamy said. He declared that "a cycle of censorship" in the nation is what caused the Jan. 6 episode.

TUCKER CARLSON: It's QAnon.

RAMASWAMY: You want to know what caused January 6? Pervasive censorship in this country in the lead-up to January 6. You tell people in this country they can not speak, that is when they scream. You tell people in this country they can not scream, that is when they tear things down.

The reality is we were told you could not question where the virus came from when we all know it came from a lab in Wuhan, which now they admit. We were told you could not send a private message to someone on the eve of an election that Hunter Biden's laptop story was actually a true story worth considering before an election. You were systematically suppressed.

Until we look ourselves in the mirror and admit the truth on that, we won't move forward as a country. And I think that is the real cause. I'm sorry to say this Tucker, but I think until we reckon with that reality, I worry that that is the beginning, that is a friendly parlay, compared to what is to come, unless er tep up and speak the truth, restore integrity, and actually lead us to who we are as a people rather than sweeping the truth under the rug.

During the interview, Ramaswamy called for ending the Russia-Ukraine war. "I would negotiate a deal that ends the Ukraine war. Freeze the current lines of control. Yes that means giving part of the Donbas region to Russia. I would make a hard commitment that NATO never admits Ukraine to NATO," Ramaswamy said.
