LYRICS of Brink of War by Oliver Anthony

LYRICS of Brink of War by Oliver Anthony

According to information, the actual title for the song 'Blink Of War' by Oliver Anthony is 'I Want To Go Home'

Viral sensation Oliver Anthony has just released a new song and it's already taking the internet by storm.

Uploaded first to his YouTube, the song is called "I Want to Go Home" and the lyrics paint a picture of an alienated, hard-working man of God, trying to make sense of a world on the brink of World War III.

The lyrics are simple yet powerful: "We’re on the brink of the next World War / and I don’t think nobody’s praying no more ... Every damn day is always some kind of bill to pay / People just doing what the rich man say."

As with Rich Men North of Richmond, it is interesting to watch Charlie Kirk, Benny Johnson and Jack Posobiec all tweet this out within minutes of each other. Look at the timestamps above. At the same time though, I obviously agree with the politics and the sentiment, so I don’t have anything to complain about. Even if it is another one of their ops, I still don’t see the downside.

The Virginia farmer and musician, distinguished by his now-famous red beard, emerged from obscurity to achieve the top position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with a track he recorded during his time in the American wilderness called "Rich Men North of Richmond."

Uploaded on August 8, the music video of the song has amassed over 33 million views on YouTube and has garnered attention from various news sources with differing political stances, with left-wing outlets often smearing him and misrepresenting his lyrics.

The video's description stated that the song aimed to inspire the working class and the average young individual who might have lost faith in the struggle to make ends meet. As a result, it has widely been embraced as a representation of populist values throughout the United States.

LYRICS OF I WANT TO GO HOME OR BLINK OF WAR:
"I Want To Go Home"

Well, if it won't for my old dogs and the good Lord
They'd have me strung up in the psych ward
'Cause every day livin' in this new world
Is one too many days to me

Son, we're on the brink of the next world war
And I don't think nobody's prayin' no more
And I ain't sayin I know it for sure
I'm just down on my knees

Beggin', Lord, take me home
I just wanna go home
I don't know which road to go
It's been so long
I just know I didn't used to wake up feelin' this way
Cussin' myself every damn day
People have really gone and lost their way
They all just do what the TVs say
And I wanna go home

Seven generations farmin' the ground
Grandson sells it to a man from out of town
Two weeks later the trees go down
Only got concrete growin' around

And I wanna go home
I wanna go home
I don't know which road to go
It's been so long
I just know I didn't used to wake up feelin this way
Well, cussin' myself every damn day
There's always some kind of bill to pay
People just doin' what the rich man say
And I wanna go home
