VIDEO: Scene of Fans at FedEx field for Beyoncé’s concert tonight in Maryland returning to their seats after an emergency evacuation due to a storm passing over the area

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Scene of Fans at FedEx field for Beyonce's concert tonight in Maryland returning to their seats after an emergency evacuation due to a storm passing over the area.

A statement was posted on FedEx Field’s Twitter/X page: “Due to lightning in the area, we are currently under a shelter in place order. Fans outside of gates and in the parking lots are asked to return to their cars. All fans inside of the stadium are asked to shelter in place under covered concourse areas and ramps until further notice.”

At 8:25 p.m., an “all clear” update was released.

Meanwhile people at the stadium tweeted videos of what appeared to be large and restive crowds packed in the concourse areas.

Fans outside the gates of the stadium in Prince George’s County were asked in a Twitter message posted about 6:40 p.m. to go back to their cars. Those inside were asked to shelter in place under the covered concourses and ramps.

Another tweet showed a huge crowd jammed into a concourse area, and gave this description: “The current scene at FedEx Field during the delay for the Beyoncé show — wild.”

About 10:20 p.m., a Twitter user described “that rain coming down and the show is on hold until the weather calms down yikes”

However, a video posted about 10:30 p.m. on the Twitter feed of the tour showed Beyoncé performing on a brightly lit stage with rain pouring down in the background. What appeared to be thousands of concertgoers were in the background.
