Unconfirmed sources are saying Purple Aki committed suicide. Breaking News

Purple Aki has been found dead in his flat in Liverpool.

In a surprising turn of events, the notorious figure known as "Purple Aki" has been discovered dead in his flat in Liverpool. Born Akinwale Arobieke, the man gained infamy for his alleged habit of approaching individuals and asking to touch their muscles. The news of his passing has sparked discussions about his life, actions, and the complex impact he had on his community.

Who is Purple Aki?
Throughout the 80s, Aki had been seen stalking young rugby players, asking to touch their muscles to pose for him and even offering exercise advice.

While this appeared harmless and humorous to start, it quickly turned sinister, after several incidents where Aki reportedly prayed on both teens and professional rugby players alike.

For those growing up in the Northwest of England in the 1990s, ‘Purple Aki’ became an urban legend, where teenagers would share stories of a man who’d ask to feel your muscles.

Arobieke's nickname, "Purple Aki," stemmed from his preference for wearing purple clothing. Over the years, he became the subject of numerous urban legends and rumors, particularly his supposed fixation on touching people's muscles. These allegations earned him both fascination and fear, leading to a controversial reputation.

Local authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of death, but his passing has drawn attention to the broader issues surrounding his behavior. Many consider him to be a cautionary tale of how unchecked rumors and stigmatization can shape perceptions of individuals. Arobieke's actions often prompted people to exaggerate stories about him, sometimes leading to hysteria and unwarranted fear.

Aki would occasionally resurface in local papers after various encounters with the law.

He was also banned from touching, feeling and measuring muscle, and asking strangers to perform squats for him, from 2006.

Aki was prevented from waiting near schools and gyms and was banned from entering Warrington, Widnes, and St. Helens - which are noted for their heavy rugby presence.
