Prophet Adegoke Jeremiah a.k.a Billion Dollars has filed a lawsuit against popular chef, Damilola Adeparusi, who embarked on a 120 hour Cook-a-thon.
Via a petition written by his lawyers, the pastor expressed surprise at what he considered to be a defamatory statement made by the chef.
The suit by the clergyman demands a retraction of the libellous statement on social media and payment of a sum of twenty million naira.
Chef Dammy had revealed last week that her pastor should be held responsible if anything happens to her.
The Ekiti-born chef took to her Instagram page last week to disclose that her life was in danger. She said that she had been living in constant fear and was close to dying a few days ago.
In another post shared via her Instagram story, Dammy said her pastor should be held responsible if anything happens to her.
She said the cleric told her to “prepare for war.”
She wrote, “I’ll be having an interview in Lagos soon. And I’m ready to let everything out once I get back.
