The new MCU timeline book confirms Spider Man Homecoming's '8 years later' time card was a mistake

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that The new MCU timeline book confirms Spider Man Homecoming's '8 years later' time card was a mistake.

Spider-Man 2 revolves around the arrival of Kraven the Hunter in New York. Kraven is hellbent on finding a foe worthy of his might as part of his 'Great Hunt', and to that end goes on a surprisingly violent rampage that sees a handful of supervillains disposed of.

During the course of the game Kraven takes on the likes of Scorpion, Mister Negative, and even Venom (check out IGN's list of Spider-Man 2 supervillains for more). But fans have wondered why Rhino, who was so prominent in Marvel’s Spider-Man and spin-off Miles Morales, fails to make a proper appearance in Spider-Man 2. Perhaps Aleksei Sytsevich got wind of Kraven’s arrival and thought he’d better go into hiding. Smart.

One fan, however, managed to get out of bounds in the virtual city of New York, and uncovered what appears to be a cut Kraven trophy room. In it are four heads displayed on a wall, one of which belongs to poor Rhino.

In retrospect, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 might be a shorter, snackier game than some were expecting, especially when many AAA games these days are comfortably in excess of 50 hours minimum. That's even with a single playthrough containing plenty of collectibles and side mission challenges to take on such as the Spider-Man 2 Spider Bots and Spider-Man 2 Mysteriums. Still, the game seems fairly replayable, even without Spider-Man 2 new game plus currently, as once you beat it the first time you can unlock a new difficulty level, "Ultimate", allowing players to take their skills and abilities and apply them to a far more perilous level of challenge.

However, if you're just in it for the story and a bit of extra content to make sure you're not underleveled, such as a few side quests and collectibles, maybe swinging around the city just vibing for a while, you'll probably be finished before the 20 hour mark. Admittedly, difficulty and player skill level does factor here – Spider-Man 2 does hold a few difficulty spikes and generally is a little more challenging than the comfortable power fantasies of its predecessors – but you can always adjust the difficulty in the settings to bring it to a level you're comfortable with.

Swing, jump and utilize the new Web Wings to travel across Marvel’s New York, quickly switching between Peter Parker and Miles Morales to experience different stories and epic new powers, as the iconic villain Venom threatens to destroy their lives, their city and the ones they love. How long is Marvel's Spider-Man 2?
When focusing on the main objectives, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is about 15 Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 25½ Hours to obtain 100% completion.
