PHOTO:, DJI is selling Starlink satellite terminals on their website in Russia

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that DJI is selling Starlink satellite terminals on their website in Russia.

The report came days after a US military publication published a photo provided by a Ukrainian source purporting to show a Starlink terminal on the front line. It was captured in a video by a Ukrainian drone participating in a strike on a Russian position.

“Yes, there have been recorded cases of the Russian occupiers using these devices,” said Andriy Yusov, GUR spokesperson. “This is starting to take on a systemic nature.”

Mr Musk’s Starlink proved vital to Ukraine’s defence of Kyiv at the start of the invasion in February 2022 after the billionaire provided thousands of terminals.

Defense One's Ukrainian sources noted that the Russians could easily purchase Starlink overseas and then transfer it to their military.

According to Ukraine's military intelligence agency HUR, there has been a notable uptick in the deployment of Starlink terminals by Russian forces along the frontline, marking a new twist in the ongoing dynamics between Kyiv and the satellite internet service founded by Elon Musk.

Interceptions of communications among Russian military personnel in the Donetsk area of eastern Ukraine, which is currently under occupation, have revealed the installation and use of Starlink devices to secure internet connectivity, as stated by the intelligence directorate of the Ukrainian defense ministry in a recent website update on Sunday.

Russian soldiers are using Elon Musk’s Starlink terminals to connect to satellite internet service on the front lines in Ukraine, Kyiv’s intelligence service has claimed.

Ukraine’s GUR unit said on Telegram on Sunday that it had evidence that Russian forces were using the terminals in Donetsk Oblast, eastern Ukraine.
