Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Kirsty Paterson is the Oompa Loompa actor with green hair looking depressed behind the table at Willy Wonka Experience 2024 in Glasgow.

Actresses who were promised hundreds of pounds to perform at a catastrophic 'Willy Wonka experience' in Glasgow that saw furious parents call the police on the organisers have said they were given 'pound shop' costumes and haven't been paid.

The event took place at the Boxhub on Saturday and was organised by events company House of Illuminati, which claims to 'transform ordinary venues into immersive environments that transport guests into a realm of wonder.'

Paterson said she was surprised to learn photos of her were spreading online, but she recognized herself right away.

“I’m not going to lie or sugarcoat this: This has been quite a lot for me,” Paterson said. “I find it funny and I can make a humorous joke about it, but the flip side of this is that this is embarrassing for what I do, and I hope this doesn’t tarnish that.”

But Paterson claimed she still hasn’t been paid for her work, nor have the other actors contracted for the job. “So it’s like we’re kind of going through all this for nothing."

Guests reportedly paid £35 (about $45) to get in, but there was not much for them to enjoy. Photos from the event show a sparsely decorated room with almost nothing that was promised in the seemingly AI-generated advertisements, which even contained several misspellings.

Paul Connell, another actor who was hired to work the event, told The Independent that he was stunned to see the near-empty space when he arrived for the dress rehearsal on Friday, PEOPLE previously reported. He hoped the situation would be better the next day, but it was not.
