PHOTO: Photoshop NDA reserves the right to deactivate your Adobe software in Updated Terms of Use through spying

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Photoshop NDA reserves the right to deactivate your Adobe software in Updated Terms of Use through spying.
Sorry Adobe users. The maker of ubiquitous PDF reader Acrobat as well as Photoshop has followed in Microsoft’s footsteps by giving its software the ability to spy on you in ways that would make Big Brother turn green with envy.

Thanks to a feature called Recall that’s turned on by default, Microsoft’s new AI-powered Copilot+ PCs will screenshot users’ activities every few seconds and store the images for months.

Tech companies are increasingly eager to supervise and spy on their users, recently Microsoft announced an AI powered product called Recall. Recall scans the screens of users, allowing them to search their past activity in common terms.

The user agreement also leaves open the possibility to train AI using user-generated content, saying they can use the content they retrieve to “improve our Services and Software“.

Despite Satya Nadella’s claim that Recall has a “magical” ability to ensure the data won’t leave your laptop, an enterprising ethical hacker named Alex Hagenah has already released a demo tool called TotalRecall that allegedly extracts and displays all Recall records.

Now Adobe has followed in Microsoft’s intrusive footsteps by making changes to its general terms of use, which allow it to “access your content through both automated and manual methods”.
