Eight illegal foreigners who were allegedly involved in trafficking in persons from neighbouring countries on Factory Road in Komani

Eight illegal foreigners who were allegedly involved in trafficking in persons from neighbouring countries, who were later hired as cheap labour to make bricks in Factory Road in Komani, were arrested on Wednesday, May 31 in a joint operation in Komani.

According to a report by News24, The Lesotho foreign nationals were charged and detained for contravention of the Immigration Act.

 The search also led to the arrest of a Pakistani national for allegations of trafficking in persons.
