ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED AS FIREARM IS RECOVERED 

A firearm loaded with a magazine of 30 rounds of ammunition that was involved in a robbery with violence incident in Marsabit, has been recovered and the suspect arrested.

This is after detectives raided a house in Badassa village within Jaldesa location and arrested one Gayo Jattani, 20, who led them to a bush inside Marsabit National Park where the firearm was recovered. A further 33 rounds of ammunition, police jungle shirt, jungle belt and cleaning kit were also recovered. 

The suspect is currently being held at Marsabit police station pending arraignment. #FichuakwaDCI 0800722203.
