Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Nigeria Police Force in Lagos have confirmed the arrest of aboki okada riders who killed a man, David Sound, in Lagos over misunderstandings surrounding N100. (Read More Here).
A gory video which is making the rounds shows that the deceased was being beaten alongside yet-to-be-identified men, said to be David’s friends – Frank and Philip – who are currently receiving medical treatment.
As at the time of this report, it’s unclear what truly happened as some sources say it was as a result of a disagreement over N100 while others say it was as a result of a kidnap allegation.
According to the spokesperson of the Lagos police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the perpetrators of the crime have been arrested. Meanwhile, friends of the deceased have created #JusitceForDave to demand justice for the deceased.
Hundeyin reports: “I can authoritatively confirm that all the perpetrators of this heinous crime have been arrested. They will all be prosecuted. Say no to jungle justice!”
