Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Douglas Alves Da Silva arrested after he dragged Tainara Souza Santos under a car.
Tainara Souza Santos, a 30-year-old woman who lost both legs after being run over and dragged several kilometers by a car driven by her ex-boyfriend, died this Thursday, December 25, due to the severity of her injuries.
The attack occurred on Marginal Tietê, in the northern zone of São Paulo. Witnesses discovered Tainara trapped in the trunk of a moving vehicle. Civilians managed to intercept the car and rescue her. She was rushed to a hospital in critical condition and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
Because of the extreme injuries caused by the impact and prolonged dragging, doctors were forced to amputate both of her legs. Despite intensive medical efforts, Tainara did not survive and died days after the attack.
The main suspect is Douglas Alves da Silva, the victim’s ex-partner. He attempted to flee the scene but was arrested minutes later. The case remains under investigation.
