Mrs. Jane Balogun, the Late mother of the renowned Nigerian Singer Ayo Balogun, better known as WizKid, was commemorated with heartfelt reverence by her cherished family and a host of well-wishers.

In a touching gesture, WizKid, accompanied by his elder sister, astute Project Management Consultant, Busayo Balogun, joined hands with other close-knit family members and a circle of friends, all dressed in black, to light the way with a candlelight service in loving memory of the departed.

The solemn yet heartwarming occasion unfolded in Lagos State, complete with a procession that paraded through the streets of Shitta Small London, Surulere, a neighborhood close to WizKid’s roots where he came of age.
