A petition to defend whistleblower, Patricia Mashile, who exposed high-ranking official wrongdoing in the South African Police Service (SAPS), has received close to 30 000 signatures

A petition to defend whistleblower Patricia Mashile, who exposed high-ranking official wrongdoing in the South African Police Service (SAPS), has received close to 30 000 signatures.

Mashale, who reportedly works at SAPS, has been in hiding since February 2022 as she fears for her life.
