Alexendra residents in pains as unknown gunmen shot and killed Alex FM staff, Joshua Mbatha DJ Josh and six others during shooting and robbery

An Alex FM DJ and other people were shot and killed in Alexendra last night. The station’s board chairperson confirmed the passing of its music manager Joshua Mbatha, also known as DJ Josh. (Read More Here).

According to information, Independent Policing Union of South Africa’s Mpho Kwinika says the incident is shocking.

The thugs took their cellphones and shoes and shot Joshua in the chest. He succumbed to injuries and died at Masakhane Clinic. He was 32 years of age. On the other incident 2 people inside an Avanza were shot dead near the Madala Hostel this morning.

Mbatha and two colleagues were held up by three gunmen.
