Anti-Trump presidential candidate Chris Christie brutally mocks Donald for absurdly saying that the reason he didn’t give back the stolen classified documents was that he was “so very busy.”

The former New Jersey governor said that Trump should have just “skipped a couple of rounds of golf” and spent the time going through all of the boxes he smuggled into Mar-a-Lago.

“He said the reason he didn’t give the documents back was because he just so very busy, and he didn’t have time to respond to a grand jury subpoena because he needed to get his golf shirts and pants out of the box,” said Christie during a morning show appearance. “I mean, does anybody in America believe this?”

“Look, I think the problem is going to be, for him over time, is that people are just not going to buy it,” Christie added. “And when you think about how many days of golf he’s played since he left office, maybe he could have skipped a couple of rounds of golf and gone through the boxes to respond to a subpoena from a grand jury.”

The sad answer is that a lot of Americans do believe Trump because the MAGA cult now lives in a completely separate reality where everything that Donald Trump says is true. In fact, they believe that he decides what’s true.
