“Are you mad?” – Twitter asks one of its users, Abknyt.

One of biggest social media platforms in the world, Twitter made Nigerians happy last night over its tweet. Twitter management asked one of its users, Abknyt last night, “If he is mad?” and this brought about playfully reacts from Nigerians. 

“Are you mad?” – Is another way in which Americans and Canadians ask people, if they are angry with them. In Nigeria, “Are you mad?” – Is a direct insult.

The long and short of last night’s event was that Twitter was just trying to ask Abknyt if he was angry at its tweet.
