Barack Obama Thrown Into Mourning Mood After Losing His Grandmother

Former President of the United States of America (USA), Barack Obama, has been thrown into mourning mood after losing his grandmother, late Mrs. Sarah Ogwel Onyango Obama.

According to reports, she passed away at a hospital in Kisume, Kenya, after suffering from a brief illness. She died at the age of 99 years. She was Barack Obama’s grandfather’s second wife.

Taking to his Twitter page in the early hours of Monday (American Standard Time), he penned a heartfelt message to his late grandmother. He wrote:

“My family and I are mourning the loss of our beloved grandmother, Sarah Ogwel Onyango Obama, affectionately known to many as “Mama Sarah” but known to us as “Dani” or Granny. We will miss her dearly, but we’ll celebrate with gratitude her long and remarkable life.”
