Civil servant, Patrick Markson, commits suicide after killing his wife with a sledgehammer

A 46-year-old man, Patrick Markson, has killed his wife, Hannah with a hammer in Bayelsa State. (Read More Here).

Markson, a native of Onopa, Yenagoa LGA, reportedly later took his life taking a poisonous substance.

The Bayelsa State Police Command’s spokesperson, Mr Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the incident, said it happened at their residence at Odede Street, off Tombia-Amassoma road, Yenagoa.

He said operatives of the command had evacuated two corpses from their residence.
