Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Brazil Civil police shooting at criminal organization, Bone, in mega operation in Complexo do Penha(Penha complex in favelas north of Rio de Janeiro.
Information reads: “Assim amanheceu o Complexo do Alemão, na Zona Norte do Rio.
A Polícia Civil está realizando na manhã desta sexta-feira (12) uma megaoperação nos Complexos do Alemão e da Penha, região apontada como quartel general da maior facção do Rio de Janeiro.”
The Military Police and the Civil Police began this Friday (26APR2024) a major joint operation in Complexo do Alemão , in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The task force went out to arrest criminals from other states who sought shelter in the group of favelas, dominated by Comando Vermelho , the largest drug faction in RJ.
The teams were met with gunfire, and shots were heard in neighboring regions, such as Bonsucesso and Penha. Identified also caught dozens of burning barricades at the entrances to the communities and even on the main roads in Alemão, such as Rua Canitar.

The task force has armored vehicles and helicopters.
“Working in communities is part of the actions to combat crime and is fundamental work, since the criminal organization uses the Complexo do Alemão as a bunker and starting point for attacks on other territories, in addition to promoting restrictions on freedom. residents and use the local population as a shield”, declared the Civil Police, in a statement.
