Just In: Unknown gunmen assassinate SEDI director and his security protocol

The Director of Scientific Equipment Development Institute, SEDI, Enugu, Prof. Simon Ndubuisi, has been reportedly assassinated at Centenary junction along the Port Harcourt/Enugu Express Way. (Read More Here).

According to multiple reports, Professor Ndubuisi was ambushed by unknown armed men on Wednesday afternoon and his SUV was riddled with bullets which led to an accident. Unfortunately, he was hit alongside his police orderly.

They were rushed to University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital(UNTH) where they were pronounced dead on arrival by medical personnel. According to EverydayNews, the Executive Governor of Enugu state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has already visited the scene of the accident
