Trumper Matt Gaetz is hit with devastating news as reporters reveal that the House Ethics Committee just reopened its investigation into the allegations that Gaetz “had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old and paid her to travel with him.” 

But it gets worse for Gaetz…

The committee will investigate whether Gaetz “engaged in sexual misconduct and/or illicit drug use, shared inappropriate images or videos on the House floor, misused state identification records, converted campaign funds to personal use, and/or accepted a bribe, improper gratuity, or impermissible gift, in violation of House Rules, laws, or other standards of conduct.”

The Ethics Committee hasn’t decided yet whether it will launch a special investigative subcommittee to escalate the investigation — but it says that, if it does, the committee will announce it to the public and make the results of the investigation public. 

The investigation into Gaetz’ child sex-trafficking had stalled — but this Congressional investigation might be EXACTLY what is needed to jumpstart it again.
