Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Calum Hood has returned to Twitter as he announced upcoming tour via IG story.
He wrote: “I’m coming out of retirement this year be on the lookout.”
The former boy band member announced to the world back in March that he had decided to quit the band to live life as ‘a normal 22-year-old’.
Shortly after Calum’s fans discovered Tweet, the hashtag ‘We love you Calum’ quickly began to trend across social media platforms.
His worldwide followers showed their support, with one tweeting ‘We love you Calum, stay strong,’ while another left ‘I love that he will go out of his way to make us happy, even when he isn’t’.
Last year Calum joked about leaving band to ‘start a late 90’s Pink cover band after watching her show tonight, plus she’s really, really fit.’
He continued, “It shows a lot of hope for this band sticking around for as long as we can. Hopefully it shows that we’re trying to just connect with people even after we’ve just finished touring the UK and Europe — and the kind of power that an art form can hold is something that we take very seriously. We put a lot of heart and soul into these in hopes that we connect with as many people as we can in a positive way.”
Meanwhile Calum and his band have locked down a world tour in 2016.
Their upcoming Sounds Live, Feels Live tour will see them travel across Asia, Europe and finally their home country of Australia.
The band will play in Melbourne on September 29, Brisbane October 2 and their home city of Sydney on October 4.
