Pahang hopes to further promote a beach in Kuantan, after it was referenced in the popular anime Jujutsu Kaisen, says state exco Leong Yu Man.
“Peminat anime ini telah menanda dalam peta Google sebagai tugu peringatan kepada watak Kento Nanami,” she adds.
Leong also highlights that some fans of the anime have proposed for a memorial to be built on the beach to commemorate Nanami.
She says the state government will contact the creator of the anime to get approval on the matter. In episode 42 of the anime, the character Nanami had expressed his desire to visit a beach in Kuantan before his death.
The episode also featured a montage of Nanami spending time on the beach.
