One person is dead after a shooting that took place Friday night on Third Ave.
Lake Charles Police Department PIO Lt. Jeffrey Keenum says officers were called to Juicy’s Lounge around 11 p.m. Friday for a shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found one victim in a parking lot, a short distance away from the lounge, according to Keenum.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries, police said.
