POLICE INVESTIGATING TRIPLE MURDER IN MONROE; ALL THREE SHOT IN THE HEAD, ONE A 2-YEAR-OLD BABY: Monroe police are investigating a triple homicide that occurred at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at a residence on Grammont Street near the city’s public works department.

Authorities say three people—a 26-year-old man, a 2-year-old child, and another adult male—were found dead at the scene, each reportedly suffering gunshot wounds to the head.
