Family members have released the identity of Ogden teen killed in shooting near Ben Lomond High School Tuesday afternoon.

Mason Caballero was just 16 years old. He was shot 10 to 15 minutes after school was out.

Mason Caballero was fatally shot on October 8 near the Ben Lomond High School campus. Capt. Tim Scott with the Ogden Police Department said Caballero went to the Ben Lomond High School campus seeking help, and a school safety officer and other school staff attempted life-saving measures. Caballero, however, died due to his injuries.
