Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Maulana Sonu Hafiz raped 14-year-old girl in Kanpur and made her consume abortion pills for 3 months in the mosque.

In another heart-wrenching incident in Naubasta, a Maulana of a mosque was arrested by police on Sunday, April 14, for raping a 14-year-old girl for a span of four months. The minor girl eventually became pregnant and to control damage, the accused gave her abortion pills.Following this, the teenager’s condition worsened on Eid. The girl, scared and humiliated, told her family members about how she was sexually abused by the Maulana over four months. The family members took cognisance of the matter and admitted the victim to the hospital.On the complaint of the family members, police registered a case and arrested the maulana, Sonu Hafiz, taking him into custody. Hafiz lives in front of the victim’s house and is appointed as a Maulana in a local mosque.

This case is from the Naubasta police station area of the Kanpur South region. On 13th April, the mother of the 14-year-old minor victim complained to the police station against her neighbour Sonu Hafiz. She said in her complaint that Sonu Hafiz had been following her daughter with ill intentions for a long time. Hafiz often called the girl to his room on some pretext and used to take off all the clothes of the victim and rape her. When the child talked about complaining to her family, the accused threatened her that she would be killed along with her family.

The mother of the victim has said in her complaint that her daughter endured prolonged suffering in silence due to threats from Sonu Hafiz. Throughout this period, the victim became pregnant multiple times as a result of rape. When she told Sonu Hafiz about her pregnancies, he provided her with contraceptive pills.
