Businessman ends it all after reportedly losing N2.5m to bet
A Rivers-based businessman, Onoh Chukwuma Richard, has ended it all after reportedly losing N2.5million to bet.
According to online reports, he borrowed the said money with the hope of winning big, however, he lost it all after the game went south.
He was reportedly confirmed dead at the hospital on Tuesday evening. Friends got wind of his situation after he did a brief live video on Facebook before taking the harmful substance. His friends then rushed to his apartment and found him unconscious. He was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Umuahia where doctors battled to save his life before he gave up the ghost.
