Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that South Korean tourist, Mr Kim, killed by robbers on Fil-Am Friendship Highway in Pampanga.

Pampanga, Philippines — A Korean was gunned down by two men on a motorcycle in Barangay Anunas, Angeles City on Easter Sunday. READ MORE HERE

Investigators said Kim Il Dong was standing along Friendship Highway when one of the men grabbed his bag. The other man allegedly shot him before fleeing toward Barangay Balibago.

Police said Dong was staying at the Prism Hotel, although it was not clear if his stay was for business or leisure.

The Angeles City Police launched a manhunt.      

The Korean Association Community of Angeles City is offering P200,000 reward to anyone who could provide information leading to the identification of the suspect in the fatal shooting of a Korean national on April 20.


Police said two men on a motorcycle approached the victim who was standing outside a bank.

One of the suspects attempted to snatch the victim’s bag, and when the victim resisted, the other suspect shot him.

The assailants reportedly fled the scene toward Barangay Balibago.
