Tebogo Mnisi Arrested in Mamelodi Double Murder Case.

Mamelodi, 27 October 2025 – An anonymous source has confirmed to Mamelodi News that Tebogo Mnisi, a 38-year-old tavern bouncer, was arrested today for the double murder of two young women, who were cousins, and the attempted murder of a third person in Mamelodi East.

The brutal killings took place around 2am on Sunday, 26 October, in Mahube Valley Extension 17, where the victims were found dumped on the street. A WhatsApp message from victim Tshiamo Moramaga, sent hours earlier, read, “Tlaa go Tebogo ashuu wa actor moh” (“Come, Tebogo is acting up”), implicating Mnisi. His home was torched by residents later that day.

SAPS arrested Mnisi at a Pretoria filling station. He will appear in Mamelodi Magistrate’s Court in Pretoria on Wednesday, 29 October, facing two counts of murder and one attempted murder. The Soil of Africa Civic Movement demands stronger patrols to curb violence.
