Syko Bob sentenced to five years in prison for gun possession.
Florida rapper Syko Bob has been arrested for driving under the influence, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of a weapon by a felon.
AllHipHop.com reported that the attack on the Sniper Gang member and two other associates happened in broad daylight in a busy intersection in Lauderhill, Florida. Shooters in a black BMW opened fire on their vehicle on April 26th, around 3:00 p.m.
The driver of Syko Bob’s vehicle sped up and struck several vehicles in an attempt to get away. Someone from Syko Bob’s car fired back, causing the BMW to crash into a van. The occupants of both vehicles abandoned the scene and fled. Syko Bob and his crew were taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Few details are currently available related to the arrest of the Kodak Black affiliate, but according to a copy of jail records seen on Instagram, the “On Da Boat” rapper was charged with a DUI, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted felon, possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
The 28-year-old previously made headlines after he was one of three people injured in a drive-by shooting in April. As reported by the Sun Sentinel, police said that Syko and two other men were driving around the Lauderhill, Florida neighborhood when a black BMW pulled up and opened fire on them. The rapper tried to drive off but slammed into two other cars in traffic as the BMW continued to fire more shots. It was reported that someone in Syko’s car fired back before the BMW drove off and crashed into a van.
