The Catholic church has unveiled posters of Mary and Jesus being from different ethnicities.
The posters showcase Mary and Jesus as Black, Asian and Middle Eastern.
Taking part in an anti-racism drive that launched after George Floyd’s murder in 2020, the images have been made to reflect the “rich diversity” of the church.
The artwork was released by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales as part of it’s Racial Justice Sunday Event.
