Stephen Cheburet and Sylvia Wanjiku are about to report to prison to start serving sentences for helping Fredrick Leliman commit murder of Willie Kimani, his driver and his client. This should serve as an example to all police officers who help their colleagues commit crime.

The 4 had been charged alongside police officer, Leonard Mwangi, who has been acquitted on all 3 counts of murder. The 4 have been convicted for the murder of lawyer Willie Kimani, his client Josephat Mwenda and taxi driver, Joseph Muiruri, in June 2016.

Hon. Lady Justice, Jessie Lessit, while reading the judgement, said that the case will be mentioned on 23rd Sept. 2022, to confirm victim impact statement and for further directions.
