Nigerian comedian, Mr. Macaroni, has slammed Nigerian producers and directors who usually pay little or no cash at all to upcoming and established actors and actresses. (Read More Here).
Taking to his Twitter, Mr Macaroni, slammed Nigerian producers who would make money from movies, but would pay peanuts to actors and actresses. He says everyone deserves to be treated with dignity.
His statement reads:
“That is how someone said I should come and feature and also promote a big movie project. I said no problem but you will pay for it ooo maami.

“The slogan of Most Nigerian Producers is “Labor of Love”…
They will pay Actors crumbs and tell them to do it for passion. No solid payment, No royalties… producer dey build empire, Actor dey labor in love… No be Juju be that?
“If you think treating me well is enough, it’s not!! I would never be in a space that treats people badly! I will speak up for them. Everyone wants a better government but are you treating people well in your own work space? Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity!!”
