A House Officer has been exonerated after he was falsely accused of physically assaulting a nurse in Central Hospital Auchi, Edo State. (Read More Here).
It was gathered that the nurse had connived with an orderly to lie against the doctor. They had claimed he physically assaulted her.
They also reportedly hid all the files of the patients on admission that particular day in a bid to eliminate witnesses that may testify in favour of the doctor.
According to reports, the said nurse is friends with the hospital’s MD who quickly set up a committee to look into the case.
However, the case changed after the CCTV footage was played at the hearing. The footage revealed that the nurse and the doctor were arguing when she slapped him and he retaliated before they were separated by their colleagues.
