A dangerous thunderstorm explosion has occurred in Akure, Ondo state, Nigeria at about 1am in the early hour of Saturday.
The explosion has destroyed no fewer than 100 buildings in Akure, and also divided the road leading to Owo into two. A very popular church known as “Possibility Church” was also affected by the dangerous thunderstorm.
A popular school called “Preston international college” was said to be affected by the explosion. The dangerous thunderstorm affected communities, such as: Eleyowo, Akure, Osi, Obaile and Iluabo.
